
The SP-FSA5 is a computerized free-arm single-needle lockstitch machine designed for sewing tubular sections such as sleeve cuffs, waistbands, trouser legs, collar stands and sock toplines. The narrow cylindrical arm allows the operator to feed circular or tubular fabric freely around the machine bed without flattening the workpiece. Running at up to 5,000 rpm via a direct-drive servo motor, the SP-FSA5 retains all the automation of the flat-bed H-series — automatic thread trimming, programmable condensed stitch, oil-free needle-bar and touch-panel programme storage — while adding the free-arm geometry required for tubular garment components.
